Hope is not a strategy

Hope is not a strategy…

Hope is indeed a tricky word :) And we DevOps folks depend on it almost every time we work on production builds.

Instead of just letting software and new features launch, we need to apply best practices, at least on an incremental basis.

We usually don’t this, and we typically leave it to trust & hope that everything will go well. Do they?!

We use or call for “Hope” to call out anyone who is making something happen (such as a launch or running a system) without applying the proper principles & best practices. Do you agree?!
